  • What is included with admission?

Dinner is included with your admission.  We will have a no-host bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

 

  • What is the dress code?

80's Prom attire and big hair highly recommended!  But feel free to wear whatever makes you shine and feel your best! '80s theme attire is completely optional. Come dressed up or keep it casual. 

 

  • Is this an adults-only event? 

Yes; While we love our students, this event is for adults only.

 

  • Is there a childcare option?

Update - Highlands Rec Center is offering childcare!  Childcare is open to all children ages 5-12 years old.  Pizza dinner, dessert, and movie included.  Register herehttps://registration.highlandsrec.ca.gov/public/class/859/group/6

  •  When is the live auction event and how to join?

The live auction event is on March 21st, at 6:00 PM at the Beresford Recreation Center. Please purchase tickets here.

  • When is the online auction?

Bid online starting on March 9th. Anyone can participate and bid in the online auction, so feel free to share the link with your friends and family.  Browse the auction and register to bid: https://highlandsptaauction2026.ggo.bid

 

  • How can I get involved?

The auction committee needs and appreciates all kinds of help from the Highlands Community. No matter how much or little help you can give, all is appreciated! Here are some ways you can help:

I have an idea for an auction item! What are the steps to donate?

Click here to donate.  Once you’ve submitted your donation, we will reach out to you and figure out how to collect the donation in preparation for delivery to the winner. [Item donations are now closed. Thank you to our generous donors!]

 

  • Is our auction item donation tax deductible?

Yes, as the tax laws allow. Highlands Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our Tax Exemption ID is 94-6172358.  Please refer to your tax advisor for details.

 

  • How do I register so that I can start bidding?

Online: Click the “GET STARTED” link or button on the bidding page.

Live: Your credit card will be collected (at event ticket purchase or upon arrival at the auction event) for payment. 

 

  • How do I bid on items?

Online: Once you registered and signed in on the bidding page, click on any of the items to view and bid on them. New to online bidding? View our How to Register to Bid PDF.

Live: We will collect your credit card information before the live auction bidding begins.    

 

  • If someone else bids more than me, can I bid again?

Yes, you can bid more until the auction closes.

 

  • Will I be contacted at the end of the auction if I win an item?

Yes, the auction committee will reach out to the winners and let you know how you will receive the item or service promptly.
